Position: Junior Communications Officer
Tibeb Design & Build PLC is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Communications Officer to support corporate communications, branding, and digital presence. The role involves developing strategic communication materials, managing digital platforms, and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field, or relevant professional experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English (Amharic proficiency is an advantage)
- Strong understanding of branding and corporate positioning
- Experience managing digital platforms and content calendars
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms and communication materials
- Provide communication support for major announcements, project launches, and corporate initiatives
Content Development and Storytelling
- Produce high-quality written content including press releases, case studies, website copy, company profiles, proposals, newsletters, and reports
- Communicate project milestones and impact stories effectively
Digital and Media Management
- Manage the company’s digital presence, including LinkedIn, Instagram, website, and other relevant platforms
- Monitor analytics and optimize content performance
- Build and maintain relationships with media and industry stakeholders
Business Development Support
- Prepare communication materials for client pitches, tender submissions, and presentations
- Support branding and visibility during exhibitions, corporate events, and industry forums
