Position Overview: Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable

As a Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and control in the company’s accounts payable processes. This position plays a key role in managing expenses, enforcing revenue compliance, and supporting overall financial strategy. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and financial modeling skills.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), and a member of a professional body
• Bachelor’s degree (or honors) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a structured and reputable company
• Minimum 2 years at a supervisory level
• Proven experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analysis
• Skilled in developing financial models to evaluate multiple financial scenarios and plans

Key Responsibilities & Performance Indicators:

• Ensure full compliance with internal and external financial regulations
• Enforce revenue policies and controls to mitigate financial risks
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of company revenues
• Guarantee that all products and services sold are properly tracked and accounted for
• Maintain 100% accuracy in revenue reporting within set timelines
• Lead and supervise the accounts payable team and ensure efficiency and control across payment cycles
