Position Summary
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and issue payments promptly and accurately.
- Handle internal and external queries related to invoice processing and payments.
- Troubleshoot payment issues as required.
- Audit expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Set up and update vendor records with accurate information.
- Process payroll and other journal entries, ensuring correct accounting treatment.
- Prepare and process month-end closing tasks, including journal entries for depreciation, accruals, and prepayments.
- Maintain documentation and procedures for accounts payable processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on accounts payable matters.
- Assist in the production of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain financial records and databases
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
- Experience with purchase order invoices, corporate credit cards, and payroll in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership with minimal supervision.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Proactive approach with a focus on process improvement.
