Position: Cashier
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or BA in Accounting, Business Management, or related fields
Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 months for BA degree holders
- Minimum 1 year for Diploma holders
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Familiarity with tax laws and cash register systems is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect payments and issue accurate receipts in accordance with company policy
- Handle petty cash fund management and prepare relevant vouchers
- Prepare replenishment requests and maintain minimum cash levels
- Maintain records for cash collection, bank deposits, and transactions
- Operate and manage cash register machine in compliance with tax regulations
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting for internal/external audit
- Assist accountants with document posting and reconciliation
- Maintain bank records and prepare periodic financial reports
- Secure handling of cheque books, receipts, and financial documents
- Perform additional finance-related duties as required by the Finance Head
