Position Overview: Assistant Planning & Analysis Officer
We are looking for 6 talented professionals to support our growing need for robust financial planning, performance analysis, and data-driven insights to improve our operations and outreach.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
- ACCA Part-Qualified or active student (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or auditing
- Previous work in microfinance or banking is highly advantageous
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Proficient in using financial analysis tools

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- High professional integrity, adaptability, and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assistant Assist in preparing strategic and operational plans
- Conduct regular financial forecasting and variance analysis
- Compile, review, and interpret financial reports and KPIs
- Support budgeting processes and recommend financial efficiencies
- Provide decision-making support to leadership through data insights
- Participate in audits, internal control reviews, and compliance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with operations
