JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a professional and client-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Addis Ababa. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere while supporting administrative and communication tasks within the office. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in administrative and client service roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and assist customers, guests, and staff in a professional manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Handle office correspondence and documentation flow.
- Coordinate with internal teams and service providers (cleaners, maintenance, etc.).
- Ensure timely message delivery and internal communication.
- Support office event coordination and logistics as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education:
- BA degree in Business Management, Hotel Management, or related fields.
Experience & Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a receptionist (experience in hotel reception is an advantage).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Client-friendly demeanor, punctuality, and presentability.
