Nib International Bank S.C was established on 26 May 1999 under license no. LBB/007/99 in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and Proclamation No. 84/1994 for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business.
The Bank commenced operations on 28 October 1999 with 27 employees and an initial paid-up capital of Birr 27.6 million and authorized capital of Birr 150 million by 717 shareholders. NIB joined the Ethiopian banking industry as the sixth licensed private bank and has since expanded its branch network and services nationwide.

Qualification
- B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields
Experience
- 2 years of work experience in financial institutions
- Of which 1 year as Junior Banking Business Officer or equivalent position
