Position: Junior Social Media & Marketing Officer
Are you a creative and digitally-savvy professional ready to make a difference in community-driven finance? Awach SACCO is hiring a Junior Social Media & Marketing Officer to elevate its online presence and promote impactful services through effective digital marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
- Create visually appealing graphics and videos using Canva or Adobe tools
- Monitor social platforms and actively engage with the online community
2. Campaign Support & Performance Analysis
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics
- Present actionable insights to improve engagement and reach
3. Market Research & Brand Communication
- Conduct market and competitor research to stay ahead of trends
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials
- Collaborate with the communications team to amplify impact
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related fields
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in social media or digital marketing
- Strong knowledge of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Amharic
- Proficiency in Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
- High attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
