Position Summary: Junior Microbiologist
This is an entry-level role ideal for graduates seeking practical experience in microbiological testing and laboratory work within the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute microbiological experimental protocols
- Operate microscopes, chemical sampling tools, and staining equipment
- Perform microbiological analyses using modern instruments and SOPs
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in safe working condition
- Analyze microbiological test results and investigate abnormalities
- Validate test methods and support compliance with industry regulations
- Conduct environmental control validations and contamination investigations
- Analyze raw materials, process samples, and finished products
- Monitor microbial growth and identify microorganisms using standard techniques
- Prepare reports and perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Education: BSc in Biology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry
- Experience: 0 years (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, equipment handling, and testing methodologies
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication skills
