Position Summary – Finance Intern
JaRco Consulting PLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support its finance team in financial record-keeping, reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities.
Educational Requirements
- BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Graduation year: 2024 onwards
- Minimum CGPA: 3.25 and above
- Must have passed the Exit Exam
Technical Skills & Abilities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Familiarity with Peachtree Accounting Software (advantageous)
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Basic knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
Behavioral Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 95% accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry
- Timely submission of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Bank reconciliations completed on schedule
- Effective support during audit and compliance activities
- Contribution to budgeting and forecasting tasks
- Responsiveness in completing ad hoc financial analysis assignments
- Demonstrated improvement in finance processes during the internship
