Vacant Positions & Requirements
1. Graphics Designer
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Animation, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Experience with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Knowledge of web design principles
- Experience in both print and digital media
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphics Designer, Motion Designer, or similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, animation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
Location: Addis Ababa
2. Reporters
Requirements:
- Strong passion for journalism and commitment to a journalism career
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Fluent in English, with excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Expected Responsibilities:
- Write investigative articles, feature stories, and analytical pieces
- Understand the economic and business landscape
- Produce five originally sourced news stories per week
- Operate under strict deadlines and communicate promptly with editors
- Be open to feedback and continuous learning
