Hybrid Designs PLC is now seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join its team and strengthen supply chain operations.
Position: Senior Procurement Officer
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (required)
- Master’s Degree: Business Administration or Supply Management (preferred for higher-level positions)
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a proven managerial track record
- Industry-Specific Experience: Advantageous experience in technology, IT, or transport-related procurement
Skills & Competencies:
- Negotiation: Exceptional skills in contract negotiation and securing favorable terms
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Analytical Skills: Evaluate suppliers, assess quality, analyze costs, and manage budgets
- Leadership: Lead, guide, and develop a procurement team
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction
- Organization: Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Technical Proficiency:
- Procurement Software: SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar platforms
- Data Analysis Tools: Excel or other analytics software to manage budgets and procurement metrics
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
