Position 1: Accountant
Location: Addis Ababa
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Auditing, or Taxation
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and reporting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports
- Maintain and analyze financial records
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve efficiency
- Reconcile suspense, clearing, and temporary accounts
- Assist in audit readiness and documentation
Position 2: Senior Accountant
Location: Addis Ababa
Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance
Qualification:
- BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or related fields
- Proven 5+ years of professional experience
Responsibilities:
- Check monthly account reconciliations and balances
- Manage cash flow activities (payments, collections, credit notes)
- Handle petty cash, transfers, security bonds, and payments
- Manage monthly tax declarations: VAT, WHT, income tax, pension
- Collaborate with Finance Manager on reporting and costing updates
- Oversee tax clearance and VAT refund with the Ministry of Revenue
- Provide on-the-job training for junior accountants
