EthSwitch is the National Switch of Ethiopia, owned by all private and public banks, the National Bank of Ethiopia, Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), Payment Instrument Issuers (PIIs), and Payment System Operators (PSOs).
The organization is mandated to create interoperability among financial institutions, implement domestic payment schemes, provide a National Payment Gateway, serve as the central interconnectivity platform for clearing and settlement, and deliver shared payment infrastructure services across Ethiopia’s financial sector.

Position 1: Junior Brand Management Officer
Qualification Requirements
- BA/MA/MBA in Marketing Management, Management, or related fields of study
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
Job Summary
The Junior Brand Management Officer assists in executing brand strategies, activation programs, event marketing campaigns, and communication activities. The role focuses on strengthening brand awareness, maintaining a consistent brand image, and supporting initiatives that enhance overall brand performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing brand strategies and communication plans
- Support event marketing and brand activation campaigns
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across communication channels

Position 2: Senior Public Relation Officer
Qualification Requirements
- BA/MA/MBA in Marketing Management, Management, or related fields of study
- 5 years of relevant experience for Bachelor’s Degree holders
- 3 years of relevant experience for Master’s Degree holders
- At least 2 years of experience in an Officer position
Job Summary
The Senior Public Relation Officer supports the implementation of public relations strategies that strengthen the organization’s image, reputation, and stakeholder engagement. The position plays a key role in media relations, communication management, public awareness campaigns, and crisis communication activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute public relations and communication strategies
- Build and maintain strong media relationships
- Draft, review, and distribute communication materials
- Coordinate public relations campaigns and corporate events
- Ensure consistent organizational messaging
- Support crisis communication management initiatives

Position 3: Senior Cost and Budget Accountant
Qualification Requirements
- BA/MA/MSc in Accounting, Finance and Accounting, or related fields of study
- 5 years of relevant experience for Bachelor’s Degree holders
- 3 years of relevant experience for Master’s Degree holders
- At least 2 years of experience as an Officer
Job Summary
The Senior Cost and Budget Accountant is responsible for supporting budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning activities. The role ensures effective budget utilization, accurate financial reporting, and the provision of financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor organizational budgets
- Conduct cost analysis and financial evaluations
- Monitor budget performance and utilization
- Prepare financial reports and recommendations
- Support strategic planning and financial management processes
