Position Summary: Delivery Courier (Car)
Ethiopost is seeking qualified and motivated fresh graduates to join as Delivery Couriers. The role involves transporting packages, documents, and goods safely and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or TVET Level III in Auto Mechanics or related fields
- Valid Public I Driving License
- Basic technical and vehicle handling knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Operations
- Transport and deliver letters, parcels, and packages to designated locations
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery according to assigned routes
Route and Schedule Management
- Follow assigned schedules and delivery routes
- Plan ahead for traffic, road conditions, and diversions
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Follow safety procedures to reduce delivery risks
Vehicle Maintenance
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition
- Perform basic checks (brakes, lights, cameras, etc.)
Customer Service and Documentation
- Collect payments where required
- Maintain accurate delivery records using tracking systems
- Handle customer items with care and professionalism
