Position: Import Processor
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of studies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes, INCOTERMS, and import procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ESW, ERP/logistics systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review import documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
- Monitor shipment status and follow up with brokers and customs authorities.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
- Maintain accurate records of import activities and expenses.
- Support in resolving shipment delays or customs-related issues.
Work Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
