Position: Junior Accountant
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university/college (no prior experience required).
OR - Diploma in Accounting with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Accounting software and Excel spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile cash receipts and sales transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile customer ledgers.
- Assist in preparing monthly tax declarations (VAT, income tax, withholding tax) in compliance with the Ethiopian Revenue Office.
- Prepare and process check payments.
- Follow up on payment activities and petty cash management.
- Ensure completeness and proper filing of financial documents.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Section Head.
