As a pioneer in the sector, Dodai delivers innovative EV products and services that are reshaping urban transportation.
In partnership with Yazawa Spare Parts—Ethiopia’s first dedicated EV spare parts shop launched in March 2024—Dodai is creating a robust ecosystem for electric mobility and sustainable transport solutions.
Now, Dodai is looking for passionate, energetic fresh graduates to join their finance team as Accounting Interns.
Position: Accounting Intern (Fresh Graduate)
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, or a related field
- No prior work experience required
- Location: Addis Ababa
- Duration: Internship (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow senior accountants and finance officers in day-to-day operations
- Assist with data entry, financial report preparation, and account reconciliation
- Process and record daily sales transactions
- Support in preparing final trial balance for internal reporting
- Use bookkeeping and accounting software effectively
- Handle confidential financial data with integrity
- Liaise with government offices for official documentation and compliance
- Take on additional learning tasks and contribute to projects
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong aptitude for mathematics and accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Eager to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
