Open Positions at Breakthrough Trading – June 2025
Position 1: Trainee Legal Officer
Location: Addis Ababa
Experience: No experience required
Education:
- LLB Degree in Law from a recognized university
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in drafting contracts, internal rules, and legal documents
- Assist in interpreting agreements and offering legal advice
- Prepare pleadings and handle simple legal cases
- Collect legal data and conduct comparative legal research
- Perform additional legal tasks as assigned
Position 2: Legal Officer
Location: Addis Ababa
Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a legal or compliance role
Education:
- LLB Degree in Law from a recognized university
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and standardize contracts, leases, agreements
- Represent Breakthrough Trading in court proceedings and legal consultations
- Provide legal counsel to the HR and management on labor issues
- Maintain and update legal manuals based on Board and regulatory changes
- Conduct legal training sessions and support compliance initiatives
- Lead or assist in litigation and legal documentation processes
