Position: Customer Service Officer (IFB)
Are you a motivated banking professional with a passion for Interest-Free Banking (IFB) services? Anbesa International Bank is seeking a qualified Customer Service Officer (IFB) to join its Addis Ababa branches and serve in delivering exceptional banking experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer service for Interest-Free Banking (IFB) products and services.
- Open new customer accounts, process transactions, and respond to client inquiries.
- Promote and cross-sell IFB banking services and products.
- Ensure compliance with Shariah principles and IFB banking guidelines.
- Handle daily cash operations, account maintenance, and related activities.
(Specific duties will be provided upon appointment.)
What You Need to Succeed:
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year and above experience in the banking sector as a Trainee Banker, Junior Customer Service Officer, or equivalent roles.
- Prior experience in Interest-Free Banking (IFB) services is preferable.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and customer service practices.
- Understanding of IFB principles and Shariah-compliant banking (advantageous).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
