CoffeeNet Trading PLC is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the following positions:
- Junior HR & General Service Officer
- IT Officer
- Senior Import Officer
- Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position 1: Junior HR & General Service Officer
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of professional experience in HR and General Services or related areas.
- Experience in law or human resource functions is an advantage.
- Experience in the manufacturing or export sector in Ethiopia is preferred.
Knowledge Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Ethiopian Labor Proclamation.
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in administrative management.
- Understanding of human resource and general service procedures.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with fleet management and tracking tools.
Main Responsibilities
The Junior HR & General Service Officer will support human resource and administrative activities, general services, employee-related processes, and organizational support functions.

Position 2: IT Officer
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk position.
- Previous experience in a corporate environment is preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of computer networking and TCP/IP.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
Main Responsibilities
The IT Officer will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, support organizational systems, and help maintain reliable IT services.

Position 3: Senior Import Officer
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in import operations.
- Experience in the manufacturing or export sector is preferred.
Main Responsibilities
The Senior Import Officer will be responsible for supporting and coordinating import-related activities and ensuring that import operations are properly managed.
The role is suitable for professionals with experience in international trade, logistics, supply chain management, import documentation, and import operations.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 4: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Education
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Economics, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 12 years of senior management experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the commodity export sector.
- Experience in the coffee industry is preferred.
Industry Knowledge
Candidates should have:
- Proven experience or exposure to international trade.
- Strong understanding of the green coffee value chain.
- Knowledge of global coffee market pricing, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) coffee market.
- Understanding of commodity export operations and international markets.
Regulatory Knowledge
- Knowledge of Ethiopian export laws.
- Understanding of relevant National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) directives.
- Familiarity with international food safety standards.
- Knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards.
Leadership Requirements
- Proven experience leading senior executives and management teams.
- Ability to manage or work effectively with C-suite executives, including COO and CAFO-level leadership.
- Ability to build a culture based on transparency, accountability, performance, and meritocracy.
- Strong strategic leadership and decision-making capabilities.
