BNT Industry and Trading PLC is one of Ethiopia’s growing private companies engaged in coffee export, farming, transport, and industrial material import. The company also operates its sister firm, Ranger Industry & Trading PLC, established in 2017 to export premium Ethiopian Arabica coffee — particularly specialty coffee — from the highlands of Ethiopia to the global market.
Beyond coffee, BNT is active in dry-cargo transport, industrial chemical import, and construction materials trading, contributing to Ethiopia’s dynamic industrial and export sectors.
Position: Cashier Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cheques and related financial documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of all payment and advance transactions.
- Reconcile petty cash and ensure receipts match the cash in hand.
- Process payments and issue receipts in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure proper tax is implemented during purchases or refund requests.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports.
- Handle customer inquiries, refunds, and receipts professionally.
- Maintain daily balance and transaction logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the finance manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: BA Degree in Accounting.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Windows, MS Word, and Excel.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a cashier accountant (experience in a manufacturing sector is advantageous).
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
