About ASDEPO
Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization (ASDEPO) is an Ethiopian indigenous Civil Society Organization established in 2014. ASDEPO operates across multiple regional states, including Gambella, Oromiya, Amhara, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar, SNNPR, and Somali regions.
The organization implements programs in Humanitarian Response, Education, Health, Women and Youth Economic Empowerment, Gender-Based Violence and Child Protection, Migration and Human Trafficking Prevention, WASH, Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), Climate Change, Agriculture, Environmental Protection, and Capacity Building.
Position: Accounting Intern
Educational Qualification
- Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- High academic performance, including a strong National Exit Examination result
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good analytical skills in reviewing financial documents, projections, expenditures, and accruals
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in the non-profit sector and commitment to ASDEPO’s mission
Language Requirement
- Proficiency in spoken and written Amharic and English
