Position: Customer Service Officer I
The Customer Service Officer I is responsible for providing front-line banking support. This includes handling account transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth, professional service delivery.
Key Duties:
- Provide front-office customer service at the branch
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately
- Process account maintenance, collections, and payments
- Resolve customer requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Adhere to core banking processes, compliance standards, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a recognized banking institution
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid understanding of banking products, procedures, and customer service practices
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond effectively to client needs and inquiries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Core Banking Systems
- High attention to detail and accountability in customer handling
