Aggar Micro Finance S.C is the first private commercial microfinance institution established under Proclamation No. 40/96, later replaced by Proclamation No. 626/2009. The institution provides credit and saving services to the “missing middle” in both urban and rural areas across Ethiopia.
Available Positions
Position 1: Auditor
Educational Qualification
- BA Degree or College Diploma in Accounting or related fields
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for BA Degree holders
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience for College Diploma holders
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good knowledge of microfinance business operations
- Good understanding of auditing methodologies and company operations
- Ability to undertake financial analysis
- Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is mandatory

Position 2: Senior Attorney
Educational Qualification
- LLB Degree
Work Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good knowledge of Afan Oromo language
- Understanding of the Oromia Region Constitution
- Excellent knowledge of Oromia Region court procedures and legal proceedings
- Good understanding of microfinance and financial industry operations
- Knowledge of Ethiopian criminal, civil, and commercial codes and procedures
- Understanding of litigation principles and legal methods
- Ability to interpret laws and provide legal opinions
- Basic computer application skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is mandatory
