Position: Principal Internal Auditor
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Finance & Auditing, or related fields
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- At least 1 year in a Senior Internal Auditor or equivalent role
Job Summary:
The Principal Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the bank’s internal controls, risk management, and governance systems, as well as implementing the Department’s Risk-Based Audit Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare audit engagement plans and examine/evaluate information to support audit results
- Coordinate and follow up on audit findings, including collecting auditee responses
- Evaluate the adequacy of internal control and governance systems, providing recommendations for improvement
- Supervise inspection assignments to cover operational areas per the audit plan
- Ensure proper safeguard of the bank’s assets
- Ensure high quality of audit and inspection reports
