Established in 2012, WGGA Eye Centre is a full-service multi-specialty ophthalmology practice located in Addis Ababa. The center is staffed by experienced ophthalmologists, ophthalmic medical technologists, and optometrists, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care services across Ethiopia.
The clinic provides advanced diagnostic services, comprehensive eye examinations, and modern vision correction treatments for patients of all ages.
Position: Junior Optometrist
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry
- Valid professional license required
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year working experience preferred
Required Skills
- Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills
- Good communication and patient care skills
- Ability to operate modern optometric equipment
- Attention to detail and professional ethics
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Diagnose refractive errors and other vision-related conditions
- Recommend appropriate corrective lenses and treatments
- Provide guidance on vision therapy and low-vision support when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical standards
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care practices
