Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action is an international NGO headquartered in Bonn, Germany, working across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The organization is dedicated to fighting hunger and poverty through sustainable development initiatives.
WHH secures funding from private donors and international organizations such as EC, USAID, UN-OCHA, ECHO, and the German Government. In Ethiopia, the organization works in sectors including Rural Development, WASH, Natural Resource Management, and Social Development through partnerships with local NGOs and direct project implementation.
Position 1: Operations Assistant
Educational Qualification
- BA/BSc Degree in:
- Business Administration
- Management
- Related fields
Experience & Knowledge
- 1–2 years of professional experience in:
- Logistics
- HR
- Administration roles
Required Experience
- Proven experience liaising with:
- Department of Immigration
- Authority for Civil Service Organizations
- Ministry of Revenue
- Clearing agents
- Vendors
Language & Skills
- Excellent spoken and written:
- English
- Amharic
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of:
- Supply Chain Management
- Fleet Management
- Facility Management
- Office Administration
Other Requirements
- High level of professional ethics and integrity

Educational Qualification
- MSc/BSc in:

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in:

- Information Management

- MEAL in humanitarian or development settings
Technical Requirements
- Strong understanding of:

- Data Quality Assessments
- Evaluations
- Accountability and learning processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience producing analytical products such as:
- Dashboards
- Analysis packs
- Decision briefs

- Strong practical experience with digital data collection tools:

- Similar platforms
- Advanced skills in:
- Excel
- Power BI
- Tableau
- SQL
- Python
