Position 1: Proprietary Trader
Job Overview
The Proprietary Trader is responsible for executing trading strategies using the Bank’s own capital while closely monitoring market trends, managing trading risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute proprietary trading strategies across approved financial instruments
- Monitor market movements and identify trading opportunities
- Manage trading risks in line with internal risk management frameworks
- Ensure compliance with capital market regulations and internal policies
- Prepare and submit trading performance and market analysis reports
Education & Certification
- BA/MA Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
- Individual dealing/trading membership issued by the applicable securities exchange or over-the-counter market
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-graduation experience in trading, securities execution, or market operations

Position 2: Senior Strategy & Market Research Officer
Job Overview
The Senior Strategy & Market Research Officer will support the Bank’s strategic direction through in-depth market research, industry analysis, and strategic planning. The role involves generating data-driven insights, monitoring market trends, and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support strategic decisions
- Develop strategic reports, briefs, and presentations for management
- Monitor performance indicators and support monitoring and evaluation activities
- Analyze financial and market data to identify growth opportunities
- Support business planning and investment decision-making processes
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CIMA) are preferred
- 4–6 years of experience in strategy development, market research, or related roles within financial services or investment banking
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; data visualization skills are an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience in business research and monitoring and evaluation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
