Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at the University of Pretoria.
- Demonstrate leadership potential and community service involvement.
- Have a strong academic record.
- Demonstrate financial need and come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Be committed to giving back to their communities after completing their studies.
