Intern – Communications
Educational Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme, including a Master’s degree, second university degree or equivalent, or higher, in:
- Journalism
- Communication
- Media Relations
- Languages
- Digital Social Media
- A related field
OR
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme, at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in one of the above-mentioned fields or a related discipline.
Applicants who have already completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme may also be eligible under the UN Internship Programme requirements.
Work Experience
- Professional work experience is not required for applicants to the UN Internship Programme.
- The applicant’s field of study must be closely related to the internship.

An official certificate may be requested at a later stage of the recruitment process.
