Position: Intern – Communications
This internship provides fresh graduates and final-year students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, public relations, and development-focused messaging. The intern will support UNDP Ethiopia’s communications team in producing high-quality content, enhancing outreach, and strengthening partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting press releases, articles, and digital content.
- Support in managing social media platforms and online engagement.
- Contribute to event coverage, photography, and content creation.
- Provide copyediting, proofreading, and layout support for publications.
- Collaborate with teams across projects to ensure consistent branding.
What You Need to Succeed
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 1 year) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, or related Social Sciences.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Knowledge of communications, media, or public relations is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
Internship Conditions
- Duration: 6 months (consecutive availability required).
- Applicants must not have more than one year since graduation at the time of application.
- Educational credentials will be requested at a later stage.
