About Tsehay Insurance S.C.
Tsehay Insurance S.C. (TISc) was established by 105 shareholders on March 28, 2012. Its shareholders include prominent individuals and business organizations.
The company is registered by the National Bank of Ethiopia under Proclamation No. 86/1994 and operates under License No. 017/12. Tsehay Insurance commenced operations with a subscribed capital of Birr 45 million and paid-up capital of Birr 11,480,000, which was higher than the minimum required capital at the time.
The company initially operated with three branches in Addis Ababa and continues to provide insurance services while expanding its operations.
