Tinaw Business Share Company is a legally registered Ethiopian company operating in the floriculture sector, with its farm located in Ezga Woreda, Guraghe Zone. With over 18 years of experience, the company currently exports rose flowers grown on 32 hectares of greenhouse land and is actively expanding its operations on an additional 54 hectares. Tinaw employs over 800 staff and exports to international markets, generating millions in revenue annually.
POSITION SUMMARY
Tinaw Business Share Company is seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join its Addis Ababa head office. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals and a willingness to grow within a leading agribusiness company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle petty cash payments, checks, CPOs, and bank letters
- Post payments and financial documents (PCPV, CPV, GRN, SIV, GRIN) to Peachtree Accounting
- Organize and reconcile monthly stock and inventory records
- Monitor and replenish petty cash in a timely manner
- Manage utility bills and ensure timely payment of ET Cargo, Emirates, and other vendors
- Follow up on outstanding advances and ensure timely settlement
- Track monthly tax obligations (income tax, pension, VAT, WHT) and ensure on-time payments
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience: 0–1 year of experience (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply)
- Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and Peachtree Accounting software
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
