Position: Accountant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2 years of relevant work experience; OR
- Level 4 Diploma in Accounting with 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in import & export companies is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file monthly tax reports (Pension, Income, Withholding, VAT) in compliance with Ethiopian tax laws.
- Accurately enter tax-related data into the Ethiopia Revenue website for online submissions.
- Record and maintain tax transactions using Peachtree accounting software.
- Reconcile tax liabilities and payments on a monthly basis.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assist in year-end tax preparation, audits, and tax inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and secure financial records for tax transactions.
- Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive financial information.
