POSITION: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Or a closely related field
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using accounting software such as:
- CNET
- Peachtree
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Key Responsibilities
Ledger Maintenance
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Maintain accounting ledgers.
- Update financial records and statements.
Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Verify credit card transactions.
- Ensure financial records remain accurate and discrepancy-free.
Accounts Management
- Process accounts payable, including invoices and vendor payments.
- Handle accounts receivable activities, including customer billing and collections.
Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing:
- Cash flow statements
- Income statements
- Budget monitoring reports
- Support senior accounting staff with financial analysis.
Cash & Petty Cash Management
- Manage petty cash funds.
- Record daily cash transactions accurately.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audits.
- Assist with tax-related documentation and basic tax filing activities.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary and benefits shall be provided according to the hospital’s salary scale and policies.
