Position Summary: Bank Trainee
Required Qualification:
- BA Degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, Management, or related fields
- Experience: Not required — Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Purpose of the Role:
The Bank Trainee is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, promoting the bank’s products and services, and providing efficient and respectful front-line service in accordance with Sharia principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers with care and promote branch-level resource mobilization
- Handle cash transactions (receive/pay) within approved limits
- Process account openings and cross-sell banking products
- Scan and maintain customer and staff photos and signature records
- Prepare and post cash and non-cash transactions
- Support clearance and reconciliation of instruments
- Assist with standing orders, amendments, refunds, and revokes
- Work closely with the Till Administrator and Branch team
- Ensure compliance with Islamic banking principles in all duties
