Available Positions
Position 1: Deputy General Manager
Qualification: MA/BA in Management, Cooperative Management, Public Administration, Project Management or related fields
Experience:
- MA: 3 years
- BA: 7 years
- 2 years directly related to SACCO
- Islamic finance experience is a plus
Main Duties:
- Formulate and update policies
- Participate in strategic planning
- Manage human resources according to policies and procedures
- Oversee overall administration and operations
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Reports To: General Manager
Position 2: Operation Manager
Qualification: MA/BA in Management, Cooperative Management, Business Administration or related fields
Experience:
- MA: 2+ years
- BA: 8 years
- All experience must be SACCO-related
- Islamic finance experience is a plus
Main Duties:
- Ensure effective operation of products and services
- Implement operational strategies
- Improve operational systems
- Manage human resources and ensure timely execution
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Reports To: General Manager
Position 3: Saving and Credit Manager
Qualification: MA/BA in Management, Business Management, Cooperative Management or related fields
Experience:
- MA: 2 years
- BA: 8 years
- 4 years SACCO experience
- 3 years Islamic finance (credit management)
Main Duties:
- Oversee loan review, compliance, and collections
- Supervise loan and collection staff
- Implement credit analysis and quality assurance systems
- Ensure regulatory compliance
Contract: 2 Years (Renewable)
Reports To: General Manager
Position 4: Finance Manager
Qualification: MA/BA in Accounting, Cooperative Accounting or related fields
Experience:
- MA: 2 years
- BA: 8 years
- 4 years SACCO experience
- 3 years Islamic finance
Main Duties:
- Develop and implement financial systems
- Maintain IFRS-compliant accounts
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports
- Provide financial advisory support
Contract: 2 Years (Renewable)
Reports To: General Manager
Position 5: Marketing, Communication and Capacity Building Senior Officer
Qualification: MA/BA in International Relations, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Management or related fields
Experience:
- MA: 2+ years
- BA: 6 years
- 3 years SACCO experience
- Islamic finance experience preferred
Skills:
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Reports To: General Manager
Position 6: Saving Mobilization and Member Relations Officer
Qualification: BA in Marketing, Management, Cooperative Management, Accounting or related fields
Experience:
- 5 years total experience
- 3 years SACCO-related
- Islamic finance experience preferred
Main Duties:
- Mobilize deposits
- Market SACCO products
- Source new clients
- Engage members and stakeholders
- Prepare saving collection sheets and follow-up activities
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Reports To: Operation Manager
Position 7: Accountant and Cashier
Qualification: BA in Accounting or Cooperative Accounting
Experience:
- 5 years total
- 4 years SACCO experience
- Knowledge of Peachtree required
Main Duties:
- Prepare and examine financial records
- Handle cash transactions
- Check daily cash accounts
- Prepare financial reports
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Reports To: Finance Manager
Position 8: Messenger and Cleaner
Qualification: 10+ Grade Completion
Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant experience
Main Duties:
- Deliver documents and packages
- Clean offices and maintain cleanliness
- Remove waste as directed
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Reports To: Operation Manager
