SAMANU PLC is inviting highly motivated fresh graduates to join its structured Graduate Trainee Program and build a career as future leaders in the organization.
Position: Machine Operator
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Technical Vocational Graduate (10+3) in General Mechanic or Industrial Electricity
Experience:
- 2 years relevant experience in machine operation and production processes in a similar FMCG or manufacturing firm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate soap and detergent production machines and perform minor maintenance during sudden breakdowns
- Ensure proper greasing and oil topping of machine moving parts
- Coordinate effectively with other operators, technical teams, and QCA staff to meet hourly production targets with quality standards
- Emphasize 5-S and Kaizen principles in production and workplace
- Track maintenance activities, downtime, product quality, material consumption, and batch records
- Monitor machine efficiency hourly and implement improvements
- Follow preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules and participate in task forces
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
