POSITION: ACID OIL & ETP OPERATOR
This is an ideal opportunity for fresh graduates in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry to gain hands-on industrial experience in wastewater treatment, acid oil processing, and environmental control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the acid oil plant and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) efficiently
- Maximize acid oil recovery and ensure safety with sulfuric acid handling
- Maintain accurate logbooks and monitor tank loading/unloading
- Ensure proper dilution systems and chemical dosing (e.g., sulfuric acid, lime)
- Conduct water quality testing and maintain plant operational records
- Monitor, adjust, and control systems to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and processes to run the shift effectively
- Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions
- Lead shift operations while maintaining environmental and safety compliance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience: 0 years (Fresh Graduates encouraged to apply)
- Understanding of industrial wastewater treatment and hazardous material handling
- Knowledge of sulfuric acid hazards and chemical safety is a strong advantage
