Job Description
Huawei Technologies Ethiopia is seeking motivated and qualified recent graduates to join its growing technical team as RF Engineer Interns. This opportunity is ideal for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications sector with one of the world’s leading tech companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of mobile radio frequency (RF) networks
- Assist with performance optimization and troubleshooting of network systems
- Collect and analyze RF data to identify improvement areas
- Collaborate with senior engineers and teams to support technical projects
- Contribute to report preparation and documentation of technical findings
- Participate in field assessments and network testing tasks
Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, Electronics, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Graduated recently from a recognized university
- Prior internship experience in telecom or related fields is a plus
Language Proficiency:
- English fluency is mandatory
- Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage
Technical Skills:
- General knowledge of mobile networks, communication systems, and networking standards
- Interest in telecom technologies, RF planning, and wireless communication principles
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays, as needed
- High learning agility, problem-solving mindset, and teamwork spirit
