As part of its continued growth, Kuriftu is seeking a Purchasing Officer who will play a key role in ensuring efficient, transparent, and cost-effective procurement operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Purchasing Officer will:
- Support daily procurement activities to ensure timely and compliant purchases.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and pricing data.
- Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies in coordination with finance and purchasers.
- Assume core procurement responsibilities during staff absences or peak periods.
- Manage the full lifecycle of international procurement orders, including customs clearance.
- Ensure all procurement documentation is organized and audit-ready.
- Conduct monthly on-site inspections at resort locations to ensure compliance with procurement and inventory standards.
- Report findings and spending data to the Procurement Manager for review and strategic planning.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, especially within hospitality or service industry settings.
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with customs clearance and international purchasing procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement tasks.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Commitment to ethical procurement practices and internal control standards.
