Position: Junior Accountant

Educational Requirements
- BA Degree or Diploma in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Related fields
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or Peachtree preferred)
- Understanding of:
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable and receivable

Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems and ledgers
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash balances
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Assist in preparing:
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Support tax filing, payroll preparation, and statutory compliance
- Provide documents and support during audits (internal & external)
- Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial recordkeeping
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Finance Manager
