Position: Principal IT Auditor
Are you an experienced audit professional with strong IT systems knowledge and a passion for internal control excellence?
Global Bank S.C is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Principal IT Auditor to strengthen its Operational & IT Audit Division and ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and system integrity across the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT & Operational Audit Execution
- Assist in planning and conducting operational and IT audit assignments
- Examine and evaluate operating systems, procedures, and internal control mechanisms
- Verify accuracy and reliability of recorded data within IT and Information Security departments
- Assess system effectiveness and identify control gaps
2. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s manuals, circulars, and memoranda
- Review adherence to government financial regulations
- Identify risks and recommend corrective measures
- Support continuous improvement of internal control frameworks
3. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit detailed audit findings and recommendations
- Assist the Division Manager in preparing periodic Branch and IT audit reports
- Maintain proper documentation of audit activities
4. Departmental Support
- Support the Manager, Operational & IT Audit, in overseeing audit functions
- Contribute to strengthening internal governance and accountability systems
What You Need to Succeed
- BA/BSc Degree in:
- Accounting
- Business Management
- Management
- Computer Science
- Or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- At least 1 year in a senior position
Advantageous Experience:
- External Audit Firms
- Federal Audit Bureaus
- ERCA
- INSA
Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Knowledge of IT systems and information security auditing
- Excellent report writing skills
- High integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
