Ovid Real Estate is seeking qualified and competent candidates for the following positions:
Position 1: Architect
Educational Qualification:
- MSc/BSc Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, or related fields
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in building construction, with at least 3 years as an Architect
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present design proposals, prepare drawings, including extensions and alterations
- Collaborate with design consultants and architects to meet client needs
- Review designs with project teams for innovation and value engineering
- Adapt and revise plans as required, resolving design issues during construction
- Prepare workshop and as-built drawings for consultant approval
- Assist tender and contract teams on design-related issues
- Prepare weekly and monthly design reports
- Conduct site visits and client meetings
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Secretary (To the Chief Technical Officer)
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Secretarial Science or related business field
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years for Diploma holders, 2 years for BA holders
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Perform secretarial tasks (typing letters, minute records, etc.)
- Maintain documents, reports, and presentations
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Assist technical teams with administrative support
- Implement filing systems and ensure document accessibility
- Facilitate communication between departments and external partners
- Perform data entry and maintain databases
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Personal Technical Assistant (PTA) to the Chief Executive Officer
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or Economics
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years in executive support, business analysis, or project coordination
- Proven experience working with C-suite or senior leadership
Technical Competencies:
- Strong writing, synthesis, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (preferably Odoo)
- Excellent analytical reasoning and information structuring
- Fluent in English and Amharic
