Position: Junior Attorney
Location: Head Office – Addis Ababa
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university
- Field of Study: Law or a closely related legal discipline
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant legal experience in banking, financial institutions, or a corporate setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard the Bank’s legal interests in debt-related matters including recovery and foreclosure
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian legal frameworks and banking regulations
- Provide legal advisory and litigation support on loan default and credit recovery cases
- Draft, review, and assess legal documents, contracts, and case files
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to manage legal risks
- Participate in the development and enhancement of legal policies and procedures
