Internship Opportunity Overview
The British Embassy Ethiopia Internship Programme is designed to support promising young Ethiopians who are looking to make a lasting impact in their professional careers. This internship is a chance to gain exposure to international development work, build competencies, and contribute to high-impact programming and operations within a dynamic diplomatic mission.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any field of study)
- Graduated in 2023 or 2024
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
- Proficiency in English and Amharic
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in People/HR or Corporate roles is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment
- Familiarity with organizational IT and HR systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to one of the Embassy teams
- Assist with event coordination, HR data management, and logistics
- Participate in cross-office activities and support corporate tasks
- Contribute to programme delivery including financial tracking and analysis
- Engage in embassy-wide learning and development activities
