Open Positions
1. Junior Accountant
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
- 0–1 year of relevant experience (advantageous but not mandatory).
Technical Expertise:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP preferred).
- Familiarity with Peachtree or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
2. Accountant
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Experience in inventory accounting and import cost build-up preferred.
- Background in a professional accounting firm is an asset.
Technical Expertise:
- Skilled in Peachtree, QuickBooks, and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Ethiopian tax laws.
- Understanding of inventory valuation and cost accounting.
3. Senior Accountant
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACCA certification (in progress or completed) is a strong advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in accounting, finance, or audit—preferably in firms serving diverse clients, including private and development organizations.
- Proven experience in inventory management, cost accounting, tax accounting, and import cost build-up.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in Peachtree, QuickBooks, or similar software; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of Ethiopian tax legislation, IFRS, and GAAP.
- Strong ability to manage multiple client engagements under tight deadlines.
