Position: Operation Center Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented tech professional with strong systems analysis experience? Join Safaricom Ethiopia and play a critical role in ensuring service availability and operational excellence across telecom platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Oversee end-to-end monitoring and supervision of telecom platforms

  •  Ensure effective service delivery, fault handling, and incident management

  •  Conduct performance analysis and implement proactive controls

  •  Build and enhance automated monitoring systems across domains

  •  Follow up on incidents, update stakeholders, and maintain service logs

  •  Manage and report on KPIs and SLAs, ensuring continuous improvement

  •  Provide accurate incident data and maintain customer-centric issue resolution

  •  Identify gaps and recommend operational improvements and policy enhancements

  •  Work in a 24/7 shift environment, ensuring high availability and rapid response

  •  Ensure infrastructure stability, performance monitoring, and governance alignment

What You Need to Succeed

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Information Systems (essential)

  • 2–5 years of systems analysis and design experience in complex IT environments

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of fault, change, and incident management

  • Familiarity with telecom operations, monitoring tools, and infrastructure support

  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
