About NEBE
National Election Board of Ethiopia is an independent constitutional body established under Article 102 of the FDRE Constitution. It is responsible for administering elections and referendums across Ethiopia. Since its establishment, NEBE has conducted multiple national and local elections and continues to strengthen democratic processes through institutional reforms and capacity building.
Position 1: Monitoring and Evaluation Expert
Qualification & Experience
- BA/BSc/MA/MSc in Project Planning & Management, Economics, Statistics, or related fields
- 7 years (Bachelor) or 5 years (Master’s) experience
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies and best practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop M&E plans and indicators
- Reporting and documentation skills
- Knowledge of risk management and internal monitoring systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Training and capacity-building experience
- High commitment to transparency and accountability
Duty Station: NEBE Head Quarter, Addis Ababa
Position 2: Media Monitoring Expert
Qualification & Experience
- BA or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Statistics, or related field
- 7 years (BA) or 5 years (Master’s) experience
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Media monitoring tools
- Data interpretation and analysis
- Report writing skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- High attention to detail
Duty Station: NEBE Head Quarter, Addis Ababa
Position 3: Head of Human Resources Management (HRM) Department
Qualification
- PhD / MA / MBA in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Management, Public Administration, or related fields
Experience
- PhD: Minimum 8 years (4 years in leadership role)
- MA/MBA: Minimum 10 years (4 years in leadership role)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and talent management skills
- Knowledge of HR systems and software
- Coaching, mentoring, and capacity-building ability
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in dynamic and demanding environments
